Mary & Andrew's Wedding

Weddings

Mary and Andrew got married two weeks ago at Hebden Methodist Chapel which was a beautiful little chapel and the service was so amazing; very personal. From there it was champagne and canapés at Parcevall Hall, where the Groom Andrew grew up. The gardens here are absolutely amazing and we only managed to use one small section for the photos as it is so large. We were so lucky as well as it had been torrential rain all morning; as soon as Mary got to the Church the sun shone!

To give you a little info about Parcevall Hall, because I totally fell in love with the place. (Which is quoted off their site: http://www.parcevallhallgardens.co.uk/ )

Parcevall Hall Gardens, situated in the scenic Yorkshire Dales National Park, lie on a steep hillside and are the only RHS and English Heritage registered gardens open to the public in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The sixteen acres of formal and woodland gardens rise up the hillside and command impressive views of Simons Seat and Wharfedale.

Within a shelterbelt of woodland, the gardens comprise of the following features:
• Rock Garden with pools
• Orchard with old apple varieties
• Formal Terraces
• Herb Garden
• Woodland trails
• Camellia Walk
• Rose Garden
• Chapel Garden
• Cliff Walk

Carrying on with the day... it was then off to the reception which was held at the local hall. It had been kitted out by Bombay Stores. I hadn't realised that they provided this service, it looked amazing with the material on the walls and the chair covers etc.... see the 'Details' collage image at the bottom of the images.

Mary's dress was made especially for her and it was beautiful.  She had a few small butterflies on it which were also incorporated within the rest of the day such as the decor in the hall.  She looked so so stunning and it was great to get to know Mary and her family and friends.   And can you believe that Mary and Andrew weren't even going to have a photographer as Mary hates having her picture taken!!  They were just great as a couple and went into such natural poses so easily, they made it a lot easier for me; you were great!

Something old, something new.  Mary's engagement ring and her Mums ring that her Mum and Sister both also wore at their weddings.

Andrew's sister Rebecca

One of the bridesmaids, Andrew's niece Lois.

It was a bit of an effort trying to get in the dress though!!!

How stunning...

I love this candid shot of Mary

The view from the reception, WOW!

This is Andrew's Mum Carol and Dave who booked me as their wedding gift for Mary and Andrew.  They are so down to earth and such gorgeous people.

A few details of the reception...

And finally this is me on the day - wish I had smiled a bit better - I should know better!!!
