Lorne, Victoria

My Life
After going through the images from Kates wedding (Andy's little sister), I came across all the images we have from our last trip to Australia.  I still haven't managed to go through them all and print any, very slack I know, but I am always working on my customers images!  I started to go through them and surprisingly there were quite a few of me for a change!!  So I thought I'd share a few of me, Andy and Harris.

While we were in Melbourne we took a drive out one day along the Great Ocean Road. These are a few pics we took in Lorne at the Pier.  We then ate on the seafront at The Pier Seafood Restaurant where we treated ourselves to a beautiful meal with gorgeous fresh fish.

A couple from the back of the restaurant at the fishmongers.

It was pretty gusty out on the pier.

Sunday Stroll

My Life

These are a few pics from a walk a couple of weeks ago. After the initial stone throwing in the beck we wandered through the woods. There we started to come across a lot of acorns, well Harris was in his element, as his favourite movie at the moment is 'My neighbour Totoro', a Japanese animation from the famous Studio Ghibli. Within the film the characters plant acorns, so, as you may imagine, we were constantly stopping to collect them, when we couldn't carry anymore we would leave them at the base of a tree (where Totoro lives!). We eventually made it the cafe on the Glen to get some much needed sustenance, when we realised we hardly had any brass. We managed to copper up and order something for Harris and share a pasty and peas between us!

This is Harris saying 'beauty mate', that Pop in Australia taught him to say on our trip last November. Just before we left for Oz my Mum had taught Harris to say 'I say old boy', whenever he had wind! Both trying to keep a bit of Pomme and Ozzy in him!!!

With his little digital camera; he always wants mine though!

Checking out his workmanship!

The infamous acorns!

Kate & Geoff

My Life

Happy anniversary Kate & Geoff. These are a few pics of the day to remind you what an amazing day it was for us all.

Kate is Andy's sister and we went over to Melbourne, Australia as a surprise for their wedding. I wasn't the wedding photographer as I didn't shoot weddings then, but I did take a few pics of the day. I had an inclination that Kate wanted me to post a few of her images when I started my blog, but I decided to make her wait until their anniversary!!!!

Enjoy xxx

Me catching the bouquet!!! Think it was a set-up - Andy is the only one out of the six of them not married!  Gonna make the most of having a few photos of myself and put a few on!!

I'm looking rather pleased with myself wanting to rub it into Andy!

And a nice one I use as my profile picture at the top!

Corey - with this stone - can't remember the stones name now, but he got about that night!

Andy's Birthday Cake

My Life
It was Andy's birthday on Sunday (36!!), my Mum and Chris took us for a gorgeaous curry at the Aagrah for their evening buffet. Harris got stuck into the popodoms, chocolate cake and mousse! We didn't manage to bake a cake so Harris and I made one today covered in jelly tots! He did so well and cracked open all the eggs into a bowl himself; then it was time to decorate the cake... well, most of the icing was eaten I think but he did a good job and holding back from eating the jelly tots!

When Dad walked in tonight we had the lights off and the cake lit and Harris sung Happy Birthday and then of course he had to help with the candle blowing. Anyone would think it was H's birthday from the pics below...

It was Grace, Harris' cousins birthday on Saturday too. Harris sends a big kiss to you. (Andy is Australian so 1/2 of Harris's family is over in Oz). There is a pic at the bottom of Grace enjoying her cake too; might have to steal the donut idea!

He does this little pose on the left when He's thinking what to say next, I think he's gonna end up on the stage!

Digital Albums

Albums & Products
These are a few images of a digital book from Jo and Nic's portrait session which was a hot air balloon ride over the Yorkshire Dales.  It was such a great morning and the book will be brilliant for them to cherish those moments.
